Web 2.0 Applications: Security and Privacy Issues

2009 Techno Security Conference features a presentation on security and privacy issues affecting Web 2.0 Applications

If you happen to be in beautiful Myrtle Beach around the first of June, stop by this security conference to hear a presentation on Web 2.0 Applications:  security and privacy issues

Presentation Abstract
What is Web 2.0?  Is it hype, a buzzword, or at least a semi-real descriptor of a new type of architecture?  Ed Bender, Security Engineer, will attempt to answer that question and discuss the potential security issues affecting Web 2.0 Architectures, including 3 real-world examples.

Objective: The presentation will highlight emerging application design trends and how those trends are opening applications up to new attacks.  It will also illustrate how variations of existing attacks have adapted to new 2.0 architectures.  The speaker will release 2, Zero Day Vulnerabilities into Web 2.0 applications to emphasize his points.

Date:  Monday, June 1, 2009
