University of Cincinnati Uses Cenzic for Web Application Security

Web application security product from Cenzic is now used by the University of Cincinnati

We chose Cenzic Hailstorm because it had the least amount of false positives compared to any other solution we tested. It's also extremely user friendly.

As a way to avoid costly security breaches and hacker attacks, the University of Cincinnati purchased Cenzic Hailstorm to improve their Web application security posture.  With the growing number of educational institutions being targeted by cyber criminals, the University wanted to ensure that all their data –admissions, registration, and grades – was protected.

By using Cenzic Hailstorm to dynamically scan their Web applications for vulnerabilities, the University has taken a proactive approach rather than a reactive one after a breach occurs.   In addition the University is implementing regular testing into its Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including the critical QA and development phases.
