Cenzic is proud to interview Carlos Solari, former White House CIO (and current VP of Quality, Reliability, and Security at Alcatel Lucent), as part of our Application Security MythBusters series. This is the latest in our pod cast interview series conducted in 2009 by Mandeep Khera, CMO of Cenzic.
When asked his opinion about the latest Cyber Security legislations introduced by Rockefeller and Snow, Mr. Solari said that it was long overdue and everyone needs to focus their attention on this initiative. From 2002 – 2005, Mr. Solari was the White House CIO, with IT security a central component of this work. He said that government as a whole understands the importance of security far more than in the private sector.

Mr. Solari just published a book entitled, “Security in a Web 2.0 World”. He’ll be signing a few copies at our Cenzic booth (#908) during the RSA 2009 Conference next week. So stop by to get your autographed copy!
