Average cost of a breach is $6.6MWhen you hear the latest stats that the average cost of a breach is $6.6 million, how can companies conduct business on their Websites without a Web application security solution? 

According to the Ponemon Institute, a data breach costs more than $200 per compromised record.  Most of the cost is due to lost business, which averaged to nearly $4.6 million.  44% of the organizations surveyed reported a breach by a third party, such as a contractor or outsources, and more than 88% of all cases this year involved incidents resulting from insider negligence.
